Oh, that waving at other jeep people thing had me dying. I remember having to teach my dad how to do the casual, low wave at other bikers when he bought his Harley. haha I had to drop in and see what you guys were up to these days as you haven't been posting. My family is originally from Ohio. We found your channel many moons ago and it helped us take the plunge to move to AZ. We are closing in on 5 years here now and absolutely ready to come back home. We have never lived in Michigan but decided it best suits our family. We've decided to move back at Christmas time. :-) Maybe we will catch you guys around sometime. Congrats on your daughter's first job! My incredibly shy 16 year old is nervously applying for her first job right now, too. Such a fun and exciting time!

The Guadalajara Restaurant on Broadway was the best I have ever ate at. It had homemade salsa and chips with fresh fish, rice and veggies that were not cheap and starchy but very healthy.

The food has changed since it has became franchise. The original one in Phoenix was some home cooked food! But I always support black owned businesses in Arizona! People used stand outside after church on Sundays !

Please don't come to Payson unprepared, as far as supplies and groceries go. Payson only stocks enough supplies for the locals. When you buy alot of our groceries, we are high and dry. Especially ICE! Please be kind a plan ahead.

Loving your content! Its been nice here weather wise in phoenix! 60 degrees in phoenix this morning! Highs today 83 but im looking out at Easter Sunday and it could be cool and wet! This could be the first time it rains on Easter Sunday since 1999! Believe it or not! Temperatures in the 50s and 60s all day as well!

I've been studying... well more or less looking over and observing arizona as a whole on google earth as well as housing listings to get a feel for how expensive it might be but more than that, how easy/difficult parking a 38ft travel trailer and not getting screwed with by DNR, police or NIMBY Karens. Now out in any part of the desert, say outside of winslow or way west outside of Seligman, you won't get messed with. But I'm looking at this nice forrested area because of the shade will definitely keep my trailer cooler in the summer time but that same forest can also be part of the problem: not being able to navigate a longbox dually and trailer through. What I look for is any dirt trail off the main road that isn't near anyone's house or occupied structure as these are the people that will call in on you. Based on what i've seen on google maps, there aren't really any places far enough away that aren't designated campsites which I'm sure are regularly patrolled by ADNR. So what are your thoughts? Just stick to the northern or southern desert? Or is there a hidden gem of a location some boondocker like me could park longterm and work a nice quiet job?
